On the backdrop of an Afghanistan respectful of its rich ancient traditions, life in Kabul during the winter of 1975 unfolds with all the intensity, strength and color of a city confident of its future and ignorant of looming one of the bloodiest and darkest periods that have suffered the ancient peoples living there. The Kite Runner is the poignant story of two parents and two children, his friendship and how chance can become unexpected milestone of our destiny. Obsessed show his father that it is a real man, Amir intends to win the annual competition of kites how it is, even at the cost of his inseparable Hassan, a Hazara lower class that has been his servant and playmate from earliest childhood. Despite the strong bond between them, after so many years of being defended each other in every imaginable dangers,

My favourite character of the movie is Hassan, because he take care of Amir allways.

Yes I learn, the live is not perfect, and if we are good does not mean that all people are not happy either.

I understand all the movie.

The structure of the story is: The movie begins in United States and, then explained the childhood of the two boys, then returns to United States and continues explaining the present.


  1. In the Kite Runner, how is religion used to acquire political power in Afghan society?
In the society there are two religions, shiitas and sunnitas. They apply the sharia (religious law).
  1. What might the kite flying tournament symbolize? The tournament symbolize
Youth, the desire to have fun ... Amir participate in the tournament because he wants his father would be proud of him.


  1. What precisely, is the "sin" of which Amir is guilty? What are the various consequences of his belief that he has committed an unforgivable sin?
Amir feels guilty for not preventing the rape Hasan. Amir feels guilty for not preventing the violesin Hasan.


  1. Is Amir selfish in The Kite Runner?
Yes he is some selfish with hassan but hasssan always is some polite.
